Features

Synchra has the following features and more.

• Unlimited number of synchronization mappings.  It's up to you.  You can license the software for as many mappings as you need.
• Total customization.  Every setting exists in one XML-based configuration file.  Synchra Configurator is used to edit the file.
• Flexible scheduling.  Use your favorite scheduling tool.  Microsoft's Scheduled Tasks application provides unlimited scheduling options.
• Log files can be viewed on screen, saved to a file, and/or emailed to one or more users.
• Synchra can be run in test mode, so that you can see what will be created, updated and deleted beforehand, without actually making any changes.
• Easy to deploy.  As long as you have Microsoft Dotnet 2.0 (you can get the runtime here), it's as simple as copying the application files to a folder.  No installation program, registry changes, or other configuration is needed.
• By default, Synchra will delete contacts from the destination if they're no longer in the source.  You can turn this off.
• Name formatting is flexible.  You have the ability to append prefixes or suffixes to the user's first, last and full names.  This is important if you want the contacts to be distinguished from other contacts.
• You control what fields are synced.  By default, names, phone numbers and email addresses are synced.  If your source has additional fields, those fields can be mapped to fields in the destination.  For example, the person's employer can be synced between providers.
• Synchra is efficient.  If the source contact hasn't changed, the destination contact won't be touched.  If the source contact has changed, the destination contact will be updated.  Some systems delete and recreate the destination contact each time a change occurs.  We don't.

Feature Requests

This software has been built with you, the customer, in mind.  And it will continue to be enhanced.  We take feature requests seriously.  If you have an idea for a new feature, we'll track it and try to add it as soon as possible!
